What do you offer as professional photographers?
We are relaxed, experienced wedding photographers with an abundance of creative energy. We do not consider ourselves pretentious or uptight wedding photographers and we love to play and have fun with all of our clients. This energy that we share with our clients allows them to be totally relaxed and comfortable thereby creating the potential for fantastic images of their wedding day.
As experienced professionals in the field of wedding photography, we use professional equipment, which means we work with many cameras and a variety lenses. Thus, we can create a portfolio of images of your wedding day ranging from stunning wide-angle scenic photos to emotion-capturing images shot discretely from a distance with our telephoto lenses. To create fantastic images we also use external flash and reflectors for difficult lighting situations.
What is your style?
Our photographic style is a mix of photojournalism, creative fine art, fashion-inspired and semi-posed or prompted. We believe in using every style and even creating some new ones to provide our clients with the most modern, original and creative photos.
Are you digital, or do you use film?
We shoot with 2 of the latest state-of-the-art Nikon D700 digital cameras and SB900 flash units. We retouch all images to provide you with breathtaking memories.
Do you supply digital negatives?
We supply digital negatives for all the finished images. This gives our clients the freedom to share and enlarge their images according to their needs.
Who pays for shipping, and how is my package shipped?
We pay for shipping via Canada Post . (Within Canada) Any other express deliveries would be paid for by the client.
When will I receive my finished digital images?
All finished digital images are sent to the wedding couple's address within 12 weeks of the wedding date. They often are sent before 12 weeks.
What do you do if it rains on our wedding day?
Rain showers are a reality in every part of the world. We are prepared to shoot indoors if need be. We also can create some fun shots with umbrellas or parasols if you choose. With location photography in and around the kootenays, it is easy to sneak inside to skip a rain shower. Also, it may be an 'only option' to plan another weekday afternoon to do the bride and groom location photography if the weather does not co-operate.
* Be sure to ask when choosing a photographer if YOU get to keep all of YOUR digital images . Many photographers will not let you have access to your files, (the ones you paid for) and will leave you no choice but to pay a high price for each and every print. Also, you will never be able to use any of your "professional wedding photos" on the web. This is why many photographers may seem curiously affordable...AT
